Choreo Collective is committed to making our classes, facilities, and online services accessible and inclusive for everyone. We believe that dance is for all, regardless of age, ability, background, or experience level.

 

1. Our Commitment

We aim to provide an environment that is welcoming, safe, and inclusive for all students, staff, and visitors.
We are continually working to improve accessibility across our dance studios, teaching practices, and online platforms.

 

2. Physical Accessibility

  • Our studios are located in Winchester, Hedge End, Bursledon and Lords Hill.
     

  • We will always do our best to accommodate students with mobility requirements, disabilities, or additional needs.
     

  • If you require assistance entering the building, using the facilities, or during class, please contact us in advance so we can make suitable arrangements.
     

  • 1-to-1 sessions can be adapted for students who need individual support or alternative learning methods.
     

 

3. Class Accessibility

  • Our instructors are trained to adapt choreography and teaching methods to suit a range of abilities and learning styles.
     

  • We welcome dancers with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, or neurodiverse conditions (e.g. autism, ADHD, dyslexia).
     

  • Students are encouraged to discuss any specific needs confidentially before joining a class, so we can plan appropriate adjustments.
     

  • We provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where every dancer can learn at their own pace.
     

 

4. Online Accessibility

  • Our website is designed to be compatible with modern assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.
     

  • We aim to ensure good colour contrast, clear font readability, and alt-text descriptions for images where possible.
     

  • If you experience any difficulty using our website, please let us know — we will do our best to resolve issues promptly.
     

 

5. Communication Support

  • Important information (such as class times, policies, and booking details) can be provided in alternative formats upon request — e.g. large print, email, or digital PDF.
     

  • Staff are happy to discuss class content verbally or in writing, and we can arrange additional support if needed.
     

  • Students may bring a support worker or interpreter to classes with prior agreement.
     

 

6. Feedback and Continuous Improvement

We welcome feedback on how we can improve accessibility.
